Our story starts with some sad empty nesters going through old photos and children’s drawings after our teens went to college.
Rewind time 14 years, that is when our girls loved making us pictures of stick figures and silly little faces that we thought were so incredibly cute. We could not throw them away. It has been several years since we’ve taken down the box that keeps these little treasures.
As we look through the past we remember the most impressional face that was made for us by our youngest daughter. She was somewhere between 3 & 4 when her creative little hand took the marker and the little blue post-it note, and effortlessly created the face which is now the logo of our T-shirt business.
How we came up with the name for our business. The dictionary was searched for a word that would flow with Bouley which is our last name. We arrived at the word “buster” which means someone or something extraordinary.
We think that little face is something extraordinary. With a little thought and prayer, Buster Bouley Shirt Designs Something Extraordinary was born.
As we reminisced about what this little drawing has meant to us over the years, the thought occurred to us that this cute little face could bring joy to many more than just our family.
We decided to put this simple image made by the loving heart of our sweet little girl with fun captions, creating a product line, “Buster says…”
We were right! When people see the designs they smile and say that is really cute. They seem to be overcome with a pure expression of joy.
We hope you love them too, and that they allow a little of yourself to come through as you proudly wear the different designs.
Our future plans are to create another product line using the saved little treasures of our middle child. (She is 17 months older than our youngest) She has been blessed with different but similar creativity that we think you will also enjoy.
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that you visit us again soon.

The Artists:
On the right is Natalie, the artist who inspired our mascot, Buster. She’s a lot taller now, but loves life just as much as she did when she was smaller.
Mariah is our other inspiration for the art we use and as a kid a prolific drawer of horses. Expect designs from her line of art coming soon!
